PharmaPro licence and activation

The PharmaPro licence is paid once, for life, for one computer. This page covers the purchase, key activation, the periodic check, the end of the trial and moving to another computer.

Steps at a glance

  1. Buy the licence on tkawen.com/pharmapro/acheter and copy the PHRP- key.
  2. Launch PharmaPro while connected to the Internet.
  3. In Activation de Licence, open the J'ai déjà une clé tab.
  4. Paste the key into the Clé de licence field.
  5. Click Activer la licence, then sign in.

How the licence works

  • Each licence is tied to one computer through its Identifiant machine (HWID) (machine ID), in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, calculated from the motherboard serial number and the network card address. It is shown at the top of the Activation de Licence (licence activation) window, with a Copier (copy) button.
  • A purchased key starts with PHRP-; a trial key with TRIAL-. Older offline keys (a long string) are still accepted for long-standing customers.
  • Activation is done online: PharmaPro sends the key and the machine ID to the licence server and keeps the response on the computer.

Activating the key step by step

The Activation de Licence window opens automatically at launch when no valid licence exists (first launch, expired trial). With an Internet connection:

  1. Open the J'ai déjà une clé (I already have a key) tab.
  2. Paste the key into Clé de licence : (licence key). Spaces and line breaks copied along with the key are removed automatically.
  3. Click Activer la licence (activate licence); the message ⏳ Activation en ligne en cours… (online activation in progress) appears.
  4. If it succeeds, the window closes and the sign-in screen appears. Data entered during the trial is kept.
The Quitter PharmaPro (quit PharmaPro) link at the bottom of the tab closes the software without activating.

Activation error messages

MessageMeaning and fix
❌ Clé inconnue. Vérifiez la saisie.The key does not exist on the server. Copy it again from the e-mail without leaving out any character.
❌ Cette licence a atteint son nombre maximum de machines.The key is already active on another computer. Contact support to release the old computer (see “Changing computers”).
❌ Cette licence a été révoquée.The key has been cancelled by the distributor. Contact support.
❌ Cette licence a expiré.Expired key — this is the normal case for a trial key after 15 days.
❌ Impossible de joindre le serveur d'activation.No Internet, or a firewall is blocking PharmaPro.

Periodic check and offline work

Once activated, PharmaPro works offline. At launch, if the last check is 3 days old or more, it tries to renew it with the server. Without a network it carries on, but after 14 days without a successful check it refuses to start and shows:

Licence non vérifiée depuis … jours. Connectez-vous à Internet pour la revalider. (licence not checked for … days; connect to the Internet to revalidate it)

Connect the computer to the Internet for a few minutes once a week, then restart PharmaPro: that is enough to renew the check.

End of the free trial

  • At the first launch after the 15 days, the Activation de Licence window opens with the alert ⚠ Licence expirée le … (licence expired on …); the software does not open until a key is activated.
  • Your data is not deleted: products, sales and patients stay in the database and reappear once the purchased key is activated.
  • The trial cannot be restarted on the same computer: buy the licence on the purchase page, then paste it into J'ai déjà une clé.

What the licence covers

  • One computer: the key activates on one computer. A pharmacy with two computers needs two licences.
  • Lifetime: one-time payment, no subscription.
  • Updates: delivered through the built-in update mechanism (see Installation).
  • Every feature: there is no reduced edition; the trial and the licence give access to the same modules.

Changing computers

  1. Copy your data from the old computer (the %LOCALAPPDATA%\TKAWEN\PharmaPro folder or the latest backup).
  2. Contact support (WhatsApp 0666 50 79 35 or support@tkawen.com) with your key and ask for the old computer to be released.
  3. Install PharmaPro on the new computer and activate the same key in J'ai déjà une clé.
Replacing the motherboard or the network card can change the machine ID. The message Cette activation est liée à un autre appareil. Réactivez la licence sur cet appareil. (this activation is tied to another device) then appears: follow the same procedure.
